Two phase fight. In P1 you fight 2 Elementals with different abilities. When one drops to 50% HP, they merge and P2 starts.
In P1, on Normal, tank the 2 Elementals together. Bring them both to 50% HP at the same time to shorten P2.
In Pi, if you're within 50yd of an Elemental, you gain stacks of its DoT. On Normal the raid will stack both DoTs but P2 should start before it becomes dangerous.
When either Elementals drops to 50% HP, they merge and P2 starts. The new Elemental combines their remaining HP and abilities.
In P1 and P2, the Fire and Shadow Elemental DoTs are permanent and are cleared by having players with different ones collide.
The collision causes a small explosion at its location and players get a new Mythic DoT proportionate to the number of stacks cleared.
Assign each player a partner with whom they will regularly clear their DoT away from others.
When P2 starts, all players have their Fire and Shadow DoTs cleared, triggering explosions and applying Mythic DoT(s). If you never cleared your DoT(s) during P1, this will kill you.
In P2, the boss regularly applies the P1 Fire DoT and Shadow DoT to several players. Clear them just like in P1.
You fight the Elemental of Shadow and of Fire at the same time.
Raid damage taken ramps up. Bring them both to 50% HP at the same time.

TANK BOTH ELEMENTALS APART.
CASTERS BETWEEN BOTH ELEMENTALS.
MELEE START ON FIRE ELEMENTAL.
Players within 50yd of the Fire Elemental stack a permanent Fire DoT.
Players within 50yd of the Shadow Elemental stack a permanent Shadow DoT that reduces their max HP.
Tank the 2 Elementals far apart.
Casters can stay between both Elementals stack both DoTs and take heavy damage. It's a riskier strategy.
Melee start on Fire Elemental and swap to the other if needed.

COLLIDE WITH A PLAYER WITH
OPPOSITE DOT TO RESET STACKS.
IT TRIGGERS A SMALL EXPLOSION
AND APPLIES A NEW DOT.
Players now clear their DoTs by touching someone with the other DoT, which causes a small 5yd explosion at their location. Players should clear their DoTs in pairs.
Clearing your DoT also applies a new Mythic DoT. Explained just below.
Clearing your DoT now applies a new "leftover" 20s DoT on top. If you cleared Fire, it's a Fire DoT, if you cleared Shadow, it's a Shadow DoT, or both.
Those Mythic DoTs are applied with as many stacks as you just cleared. Each stack deals more Fire/Shadow damage and increases Fire/Shadow damage taken.
Clear your DoT regularly and let this new Mythic DoT fade in-between.

A general WeakAura pack that provides "icon" style mechanics/debuff as well as short descriptions for each. Pretty standard. We also recommend downloading Causese Sound addon to hear vocal announcements. Feel free to thank the amazing Causese here (sorry, no Twitter that I know of...).
Another must have by Causese if you play or are planning to play tank. It informs you when to taunt and how your co-tank is doing with their mechanics.
