FIGHT OVERVIEW
  • This fight has 3 phases with an intermission between phase 2 & 3.

  • Most of Gallywix's abilities are present in all 3 phases. They often have a slight twist in the next phase.

  • One of his main abilities present in P1, P2, and P3 is when he drops bombs to dodge in the room. Getting hit by a bomb applies stacking DoT.

  • In P2 and P3, the main mechanic of the fight is to destroy the Coils that are activated by the boss. They will quickly kill you if they remain active.

  • In P2 and P3, Technician adds drop Giga Bombs when dying which you need to sabotage and destroy the Coils in time.

  • Throw extra Giga Bombs in the hole in the middle of the arena with Fling, the extra action button, to get rid of them.

  • Each Coil can be sabotaged twice, which destroys them. This condemns a quarter of the room with lightning. Kill the boss before you run out of space.

Phase 1

Gallywix stands in the middle of the arena and doesn't move.

Divide raid into 2 groups to soak the cone on each tank.

The boss drops large piles of bombs that explode shortly after.

The explosions scatter many other bombs which then create different mechanics.

Frontal Cone

Gallywix deals heavy Physical damage to the tank in a cone attack. To split the damage, the cone must be soaked by at least 3 players.

Players hit by the cone also get a healing absorption debuff. If less than 3 players get hit, the whole raid gets debuffed.

The debuffs explode after 30s, dealing damage to the debuffed players based on their remaining shield.

Players hit by the cone become vulnerable to it for 30s. Divide raid in 2, each half soaks a cone in turn.

Phase 2

When Gallywix reaches 100 Energy, P2 starts and always activates the south-east Coil in the room.

Gallywix carries over most of his ability from P1 and summons different adds.

In P2, Gallywix still accumulates Energy. At 100 he activates another of the 4 Giga Coils around the room.

The main mechanic of the fight is to destroy these coils using the Giga Bombs dropped by adds. If a Coil is activated for too long, the raid will die.

You have more Giga Bombs than Coils to sabotage. Throw the extra ones in the hole in the middle of the arena using the extra action button.

Giga Bombs explode after 55s, or when hit by the massive beam of Gallywix, dealing heavy raid-wide damage.

These Giga Bombs are essential for the main ability of the fight.

You will have a lot more Giga Gombs than needed. Throw the extra ones in the hole in the middle of the arena using the extra action button.

At the start of P2, Gallywix is at 100 Energy and activates the South-Eastern Coil. A barrier protecting his control panel opens.

An activated Coil deals increasing raid-wide damage every second, quickly becoming lethal.

Bring one of the Giga Bombs to the Coil to sabotage and stop it.

Once the first control panel has been destroyed by a Giga Bomb, the panels of the other Coils open.

When a Coil has been sabotaged twice, it breaks and condemns its quarter of the room with lightning for the rest of the fight. This should not happen before P3.

He continues shooting beams until the Coil is sabotaged. Each successful cast increases the damage of the Coils by 40%, quickly making the damage lethal.

If a beam hits a Giga Bomb, it destroys it, dealing heavy raid damage. Pick up the bombs to protect them and throw them in the hole to get rid of them.
