This phase has 2 phases.
On this boss, players have a new ressource: Corruption. Being hit by avoidable abilities increase your corruption level.
Every 25 Corruption, up to 100, adds a debuff to the player.
In phase 1, Flame's Orders and Shadow's Orders summon respectively a Fire and Shadow Elemental.
Cho'gall absorbs the remaining health of those adds, increasing his damage with Flaming Destruction and Empowered Shadows.
Cho'gall summons 2 Corrupting Adherents instead of one, and more frequently.
In phase 2, a giant Spiked Tentacle spawns underneath the boss, attacking and knocking back all players in range.

In the first phase, you fight against Cho'gall and some adds.
Assign a tank to handle Corrupting Adherents, keep them away.
Ranged DPS should focus on killing them quickly, far from the raid.
Avoid getting hit by avoidable abilities to keep your Corruption low.
It's crucial to have low Corruption before the second phase starts at 25% HP.

Cho'gall buffs himself, dealing additional fire damage on his attacks.
In heroic, he summons a Fire Elemental and aborbs it shortly after, gaining 1 stacks for every 10% of his health remaining.
It increases the power of his fire buff, requiring even more healing on your tank.
His melee swings also create fire patches around him that last for 25s on the ground.

In heroic, he summons a Shadow Elemental and aborbs it shortly after, gaining 1 stacks for every 10% of his health remaining.
It increases the power of his shadow buff, requiring even more healing to keep the raid alive.

FOCUS THE ADD
Cho'gall summons Corrupting Adherent, which has several abilities increasing corruption level if it hits a players.
When they die they leave a pool of blood around their corpses, dealing ticking damage and increasing Corruption level.
Bring them into melee range to cleave them down, then drag them away when they reach around 20% HP to ensure they die far away from the raid.

KITE AND CC THE OOZES
About 40s after summoning the Corrupting Adherent, Cho'gall uses Fester Blood.
It causes the add to deal AoE damage and increase Corruption to players within 20 yards.
They must be killed before this ability occurs!
Additionnaly, Fester Blood creates small Oozes from the pools of Spilled Blood.
CC, kite and AoE them down before they reach anyone, or they will further increase Corruption.
Cho'gall frequently mind controls some players.
While under his control, they channel to him, increasing his damage.
Quickly interrupt the cast to break free from the mind control!
Periodically, Corrupting Adherents fire a shadow missile at a random player, dealing damage and increasing Corruption upon impact.
It might be hard to see when they are getting cleaved in melee! Be vigilant!
Cho'gall frequently mind controls some players.
While under his control, they channel to him, increasing his damage.
Quickly interrupt the cast to break free from the mind control!
Periodically, Corrupting Adherents fire a shadow missile at a random player, dealing damage and increasing Corruption upon impact.

Every 25 Corruption adds a debuff, making the fight harder for everyone.
The goal is to keep Corruption levels as low as possible before the 2nd phase, during which Corruption will inevitably increase.
When a player reaches 25 Corruption, they get a debuff that adds more Corruption every second.
This debuff is dispellable, so make sure to dispel affected players
When a player reaches 50 Corruption, they get sick and vomit, inflicting high damage in a 5 yard cone.
This also applies Corruption to players hit. You can turn your character before it triggers to avoid hitting other players.

Phase 2 begins at 25% HP, initiating a race against the Corruption level.
Cho'gall deals raid-wide damage and continuously increases Corruption throughout the phase.

KILL THE ADDS
Tentacles spawn around Cho'gall, channeling beams on random players.
These beams deal damage, reduce healing received, and increase Corruption levels.
Interrupt all of them and cleave them down!
In heroic, a giant Spiked Tentacle also spawns, dealing damage and knocking back every player within its range.
It has too much HP to be dealt with directly, so quickly cleave the smaller tentacles and then move away.
Cho'gall repeatedly pulses raid-wide damage and increases Corruption for the entire raid with each tick.
At some point, all players will reach 100 Corruption, at which point you will have only a few seconds to kill Cho'gall before being defeated.
